The Piso PB is a contemporary high-rise apartment designed by Cristián Valdés in 2024, in response to the new custom of using high tables in homes and apartments. This model concludes the initial series designed by Cristián Valdés in 1977.
The PB Floor consists of a cold-drawn steel frame, a vegetable-tanned natural cowhide cover, and its ribs or legs are made of laminated beech and elm wood, with steamed oak inserts at the junctions and ends. The laminated wood footrest, along with a drawn steel bar, stiffens the Floor, providing great stability.
The PB model is available in 7 colors and two seat heights, 66 cm and 76 cm.
It's worth noting that natural sole color ages differently than other colors, starting out as a light, uniform color and eventually taking on a less uniform tan color, as wear and sun exposure take their toll.
The other colors have a dye that largely protects them from the effects of the sun and stains, maintaining their color to a greater extent over time.

Natural Color
In the photo on the right, you can compare the natural color fresh from the factory with the color it will have approximately one year after purchase, depending on sun exposure.
You can swipe to the sides to see the full chair of each color.
