Production time 15 days
The B Chair is the second model created by Cristián Valdés in 1977.
This chair is similar to its predecessor model, the A chair, the difference lies mainly in the arms and the width, which is 2.5 cm wider than the A model.
Thanks to its modern and elegant design, ergonomics, and beauty, this collection quickly became an icon of national and international design, featuring prominently at various international design fairs and museums, such as the Milan Fair, Paris Fair, Cologne Fair, Tokyo Fair, and more.
The chair is composed of a cold-drawn steel frame, a natural vegetable-tanned cowhide cover, and laminated beech and elm wood ribs, with steamed oak inserts at the junctions and ends.
It's often used as a headboard for dining tables, but it also has the versatility to adapt to living, study, and office spaces.
Available in 7 colors
It's worth noting that natural sole color ages differently than other colors, starting out as a light, uniform color and eventually taking on a less uniform tan color, as wear and sun exposure take their toll.
The other colors have a dye that largely protects them from the effects of the sun and stains, maintaining their color to a greater extent over time.
